I started this blog for all Girls That Run. I don’t consider myself a runner necessarily, but I enjoy running. It’s a great outlet. It’s my therapy, stress relief, enjoyable exercise, and gives me the ability to continue to indulge in far too much Yogurtland. I have been running in 5k races for almost 3 years, but I started running further and more frequently in March 2011.
I want to use this blog as a way to remember my training for my first Half Marathon as well as a place to put my random memories and pictures of all the fun I still get to have as a 24-year-old semi-responsible, sort-of-adult.
I love to read other running blogs and I want to say a huge thank you to all the other bloggers out there who have given me the motivation to keep going when I wanted to give up. I don’t know you personally, but many of you have become a huge inspiration to me in meeting my own goals in running and in life – so THANK YOU!
This blog is for all the GirlsThatRun – whether you run a sub-2 hour marathon or find success in a 10-minute mile, I hope I can be an inspiration to some of you one day.
